The TELUS Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival is a two-day spectacular event that brings sports, multicultural entertainment and international spirit to Toronto Centre Island on June 21 & 22, 2008.
The TELUS Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival, celebrating its 20th year, is organized by the Toronto Chinese Business Association (TCBA), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting commerce and trade within the Chinese community and through integration with mainstream Canadian business in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). TCBA started the annual Dragon Boat Race Festival in 1989 to promote the tradition and sport of dragon boating and to increase awareness of Asian and Chinese-Canadian culture and cross-cultural understanding.
