Yesterday, April 22nd, we celebrated “The Earth Day”.
“Why does “The Earth” have a special day?” you might wonder.
The answer to this question is:
Our Planet needs to be love and we need to take care of it.
The “Earth Day” was established in order to inspire awareness about the Earth Enviroment.
My teacher Kristina is the most environmental person I have ever known. She believes that everyone can contribute to reduce contamination by making small changes in our lifestyles and I agree with here. Little actions can produce big changes.
For example, if you switch off your PC monitor at night, you can save 66%of energy. If you have old fashionable clothes or it doesn’t fit you anymore, you can take them to a charity shop or recycling bin. If you have a party, you can use your ordinary plates and no the plastic ones. It is better if you can travel by public transport rather than if you drive your own car. However, if you need to drive, it is better if you can buy a hybrid or clean energy one. On the other hand, the best option is still walking or riding a bike.
You can make the world a better place to live. You need to take care of the environment if you want your children and your grandchildren live here, too.
